Hydrogen Vehicles, Free Seminars At Largest Hydrogen Technology Exhibition

Alpen, Germany, 21-March-05 – A flashy hydrogen race car, 15 hydrogen fueled vehicles and the latest in hydrogen infrastructure technology and fuel cell design – this year's Hydrogen Expo USA, held in conjunction with the National Hydrogen Association's (NHA) 16th Annual Conference on March 29 to April 1 in Washington, DC, proves that the future has already begun. Clean, safe and efficient energy technologies which lessen the dependence on foreign oil imports and reduce inner city air pollution will be on display at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel. More than 60 international suppliers from 9 countries demonstrate their achievements on over 10,000 square feet of exhibit space. In addition to seeing hydrogen and fuel cell technologies up close, visitors can listen to industry intelligence in the exhibitor seminar forum at no extra cost.

The theme for the upcoming Hydrogen Expo USA and NHA Annual Hydrogen Conference is "Partnering for the Global Hydrogen Future" – a theme that calls for the collaboration of public and private stakeholders around the world. "The technology is there, it is being tested in numerous projects in North America, Asia and Europe, its viability and reliability are being demonstrated under real-life conditions", comments Ines Freesen from Hydrogen Expo USA organizer Freesen & Partner GmbH. The number and variety of hydrogen vehicles participating in the ride and drive is unprecedented. "This impressive turnout by auto manufacturers and other vehicle suppliers is like an exclamation point," said NHA President Jeffrey A. Serfass. "It emphasizes the large investments industry is making in hydrogen technologies and products for clean transportation. Available for driving, riding and exhibiting is a wide variety of vehicles, from small passenger cars, to heavy duty buses."
